General Terms and Conditions (GTC) of Moventum

§ 1 Scope

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts and services between Moventum and the customer in the fields of relocations, clearances, and disposals. By placing an order (by telephone, in writing, or via e-mail), the customer accepts these GTC.

§ 2 Scope of Services

(1) The exact scope of the service results from the respective written quotation or order confirmation.

(2) Standard services include the professional transport of relocation goods or the environmentally friendly disposal of clearance goods.

(3) Additional services such as furniture assembly or storage are not included in the standard scope of services unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.

§ 3 Customer Obligations

(1) The customer is obliged to provide all information regarding the transport or clearance goods, spatial conditions (floor, elevator, access routes), as well as any hazardous substances truthfully and completely.

(2) The transport goods must be ready for departure and packed at the agreed time, unless a packaging service has been explicitly agreed upon.

§ 4 Prices & Payment Terms

(1) The fixed prices or hourly rates agreed upon in the quotation apply.

(2) Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are due for payment immediately after the provision of services on-site (in cash or digitally) or within the period specified on the invoice.

§ 5 Cancellation & Withdrawal

In the event of a cancellation or withdrawal from the order by the customer, the following flat-rate compensation fees will be charged due to fixed costs and staff planning:

• Up to 14 days before the scheduled date: Free of charge

• 13 to 7 days before the date: 30% of the quotation amount

• 6 to 2 days before the date: 50% of the quotation amount

• Less than 48 hours before the date: 80% of the quotation amount

§ 6 Liability & Complaints

(1) Liability is governed by the provisions of the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO). For transport damage, the service provider is liable within the framework of business liability insurance, provided the fault is proven to lie with the staff.

(2) Externally visible damage must be reported directly to the team leader on-site after the completion of the work and recorded in writing.

§ 7 Place of Jurisdiction

Swiss law applies exclusively. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes is the company's registered office in Zurich.
